Modular Light

Replacing a wide product range with one solution.

This unit can be mounted as a street, flood, tunnel, and high-bay (factory) light by utilising a range of different mounting features. Furthermore, a modular LED system allows the same design to extended to provide the required light output for any given installation.

4 Large aluminium diecast components where tooled and manufactured alongside a custom aluminium extrusion and sheet metal fabrications to bring this product to market.

Ping-An Spot Light

Light the 4th tallest building in the world.

We were tasked with developing a small light which would sit in channels along the top 1/3 of a huge new construction in Shenzhen, China. This low cost, easy to mount solution was developed and prototyped in just 3 weeks before being presented as a finalist to the project architects.

Reclaimed Lighting

Building beautiful low volume lights from unwanted parts.

The large glass component exhibited prominently on this solution is unwanted stock of reflectors from high-bay (factory) lighting manufacture. We were asked with developing a low cost and attractive light which could be sold into commercial spaces as a limited product run. The outcome was a hanging light, consisting of just 3 new custom mechanical components, which found success in lobbies and above meeting tables.
