Sustainable Systems

Supporting efficient systems through product innovation.

A huge amount of transport space, cleaning products, and staff hours are spent on servicing sanitary bins. Learning from our client we built a bin which eliminates a large amount of this through novel design solutions, which allow for tessellation in transport and a fabricated lid and bag to reduce cleaning.

Retrofit Automation

Adding new functionality to existing solutions.

After the core bin was launched we heard from users that a manual bin was undesirable. We responded by developing an additional unit which fixes to the existing bin, converting it to being sensor operated. This electromechanical add-on has not only proven to be incredibly reliable over years of use, but it has also broadened the product offering for the client.

Ready for Production

Delivering complete solutions direct to manufacturers.

Like most of our projects, this bin was taken from initial concept through to scale, with the client currently servicing them around the UK. This project saw us develop a wide selection of large custom injection moulded parts alongside sheet metal and aluminium extrusions. Furthermore, we were able to reduce capitol investment by scaling 3D printing for smaller internal components while still being cost effective.
